Karen Hund’s mother ran a successful women’s apparel business from her home. Growing up in this environment, she intrinsically learned lessons about people and customer service that can’t be taught in a book. Although the 70’s were a different era, the same holds true today with fashion and the impact clothing can have on one’s attitude and self perception.
Since 1992, Karen’s clothing career has afforded her the opportunity to work with hundreds of folks from Washington, D.C.; Chartlottesville and Richmond ,VA; to Charlotte, NC. What separates the House of Hund from other personal clothiers is Karen’s experience, and when it comes to investing in custom clothing that is significant. The House of Hund doesn’t have quotas to reach; therefore, Karen’s approach is relaxed and client focused.
Along with servicing her clientele, Karen also does consulting work within the apparel industry (this gives her an “insider’s” view to current trends that she can employ when working with her clients).
One of Karen’s joys is watching how people transform after they have clothing that fits properly and simply looks great on them. The House of Hund looks forward to the opportunity of helping you put your best foot forward!
